    A partnership of the Alamo Service Connection, Bexar Area Agency on Aging, and the San Antonio Bar Association. Low-income seniors age 60 and above may be eligible to participate in the Legal Assistance program through the Alamo Service Connection, Bexar Area Agency on Aging. Seniors residing in Bexar County who need assistance with the preparation of simple wills, Power of Attorney, and/or medical directives can contact the Alamo Service Connection at (210) 477-3275 to request help. Legal services are made possible through a partnership with the San Antonio Bar Association and provided by registered attorneys. For more information, please call (210) 477-3275.

    State Notary Commission will be hosting the Texas Notary Law and Procedure Seminar for current, new and non-notary participants that would like to apply for their 4-year commission in Texas at the seminar. Notary public training is recommended when the applicant initially applies for a state commission and again midway through the commission term for legislative updates from the Secretary of State's office.

    May 16, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Comal County Emergency Operations Center

    Comal County will be conducting WebEOC, State of Texas Assistance Request (STAR) and Emergency Tracking Network (ETN) training on May 16, 17, 18. If you want to attend WebEOC only, then request that date and time. If you want to attend both sessions (WebEOC, and STAR & ETN), then request both time slots. You may also take WebEOC on one day and STAR and ETN on another day, just be sure to convey the dates and times. Class times are as follows: May 16, 2012 - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., WebEOC Training and Refresher, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. STAR and ETN May 17, 2012 - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., WebEOC Training and Refresher, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. STAR and ETN May 18, 2012 - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., WebEOC Training and Refresher, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. STAR and ETN Comal County has 20 seats with computers, so space is limited.
