Any caregiver or leader will take away real-world ideas for improving the dining experience for persons with dementia.

Free Legal Assistance for low-income seniors

A partnership of the Alamo Service Connection, Bexar Area Agency on Aging, and the San Antonio Bar Association. Low-income seniors age 60 and above may be eligible to participate in the Legal Assistance program through the Alamo Service Connection, Bexar Area Agency on Aging. Seniors residing in Bexar County who need assistance with the preparation of simple wills, Power of Attorney, and/or medical directives can contact the Alamo Service Connection at (210) 477-3275 to request help. Runners, Walkers, and many organizations will put on their best Fiesta garb and parade the streets of Windcrest bringing the sights and sounds of Fiesta to everyone. At the end, everyone can join the SA special-needs community for Fiesta Especial, a family-friendly Fiesta experience for people of all ages and abilities (General Admission included in Registration).

Earth Day Tree Planting - Volunteers Wanted!

The City of San Antonio's Parks & Recreation Department will be planting over 275 trees on the City’s East Side, and they need your help! This is a great opportunity to learn how to properly plant and care for native trees while at the same time beautifying our shared green spaces. Training and supplies will be provided. Children ages 8+ are welcomed, with a parent/guardian. Space is limited and RSVP is required.
