Who does the Bexar Area Agency on Aging (BAAA) serve?
Bexar Area Agency on Aging (BAAA) serves Bexar County and San Antonio residents who are 60 years or older or who are family caregivers of those 60 and older. BAAA serves grandparents who are 55 or older and raising grandchildren. A department of BAAA, the Alamo Service Connection, serves residents who are 60 and older, disabled adults of any age, and their friends or family who are helping them. All persons in these categories are assisted regardless of income, and BAAA places a priority on assisting people who are low-income and 85 years or older who are considered higher-risk.For Residents in 11 counties surrounding Bexar
