The mission of the AACOG Criminal Justice Division is to act as a catalyst for positive change and innovation through regional agencies and to enhance the quality of life for residents of the Alamo Region by providing services that facilitate the effective planning, implementation, and assessment of regional criminal justice initiatives, and by providing innovative, visionary, timely and comprehensive law enforcement training to our region's Peace Officers, Corrections Officers, and Emergency Telecommunications Officers.

The AACOG Criminal Justice Division strives to be the recognized leader and agent of positive change in the advancement of an Alamo Region where the citizens: have a feeling and reality of safety and security, where victimization is the exception, and where all citizens are cared for and empowered by their fellow South Texans.
